Hand-Tufed Shaggy Rugs

Shaggy rugs are a great expression of style and can lift the ambience of any room from being dull to vibrant. The production of hand-tufted Shaggy rugs is very similar to all other tufted products; this involves the tufter injecting the pile through a backing cloth from behind. Each pile is individually injected, the closer the tufts, the higher the density. To create a luxurious thick shaggy product the length of each individual tuft is increased drastically. Products of a higher density or longer pile use a larger amount of material, and therefore cost more to produce. At Capital Rugs, all of our tufted products are made with 100% high-grade material.
